Being a Bonus Mom, a.k.a. Step Mom, is probably one of the hardest roles I have ever had. I grew up having four bonus moms and two bonus dads. I was very nice to each one of them but I remember the thoughts and feelings I had when we tried to blend as a family. It helps in my current role within my blended family.
I created My Bonus Life because there are other women just like me who find it hard because there might not be anyone around that can share experiences or just be a support to understand where we are coming from. This is my venue of putting my thoughts down, sharing with others, and getting feedback to help one another.
